Fractures and Broken Bones
Bone breaks, or fractures, are among the most common traumatic orthopedic injuries. Symptoms of a bone fracture include but are not limited to:
- Limited or inability to move
- Bone protruding from the skin
Fractures are common in childhood. Also, as you age, bones become more brittle and incidence of fracture increases. While the severity of a break varies based upon its location and any damage done to the surrounding bone and tissue, anyone who suspects they may have a fracture should seek medical attention immediately.
At OSA, our physicians excel in the treatment of complex fractures. We strive to return patients to their previous level of activity as safely and quickly as possible.
